About
Insight Advocacy began as a group of parents who recognized the need for greater visibility and attention to issues that directly impact children of color on the North Shore of Chicago. We aim to partner with our local community, schools and businesses to promote equity and inclusion, so that all children and their families can feel at home in their community.
We equip our community with a racial equity mindset by:

Celebrating cultural diversity on the North Shore of Illinois

Building inclusivity in the community through student-centered activities

Facilitating discussions and open dialogue on the intersections of race and wellbeing

Providing support for families of color in our community

Teaching students and adults about the contributions of various ethnic groups

Collaborating with our school district administration to foster equity in school
Insight Advocacy is a resource for those who strive to make their world more inclusive and diverse.
Diversity really means becoming complete as human beings - all of us. We learn from each other. If you're missing on that stage, we learn less. We all need to be on that stage.
